Work Day Reminder
Saturday  29 September
8:30 AM – 12:00 PM+

A friendly reminder to everyone at WUMC, this Saturday everyone has the opportunity to be part of the effort to make the Weston United Methodist Church a wonderful place for one and all.

If you like to work outdoors, there is plenty to do:
pruning, weeding, edging, dividing, raking, washing, etc.

If you prefer to work inside, there is plenty to do:
cleaning, organizing, washing windows, setting up, putting away, etc.

There also may be something that you feel needs to be done that no one has notices, and here’s your chance to take care of it.

The Trustees will provide coffee and donuts, and some outdoor tools.

All you need to bring is yourself, and any friends that want to help.

Sad News
Judy Adams wrote the church this week.
Mark Adams passed away late yesterday afternoon (Saturday Sept 8).   My heart is filled with sadness but I am thankful for the wonderful 35 years (and 5 days) we had together.
With love and prayers.

A memorial service will be held in Boston on Monday afternoon, September 17, with a reception afterwards at the Common Room of their condominium.  Judy has reached out to Rev. Melius to participate in the service.
