Weston Council on Aging:   We are collecting food during Advent for the Weston Council on Aging. Items most needed (in order of need):
  • Canned Tuna, canned turkey, canned chicken, canned salmon, small snack packs, granola & cereal bars, snack-pack sized canned fruits (peaches, pears, applesauce), pasta, soup, low-salt peanut butter, low-salt jelly, low-salt canned vegetables, jello mixes, small box of dry cereal (no oatmeal), unsalted crackers, small juice bottles, cans, and boxes.
Christmas Cantata:  The Chancel Choir will be performing a Christmas Cantata on Sunday, December 13th during the worship service at 10:30am.  Invite a friend!

All-Saints Sunday - This Sunday is All-Saints Sunday when we will remember members of our congregation who died this past year. Members of the congregation will be invited to light a candle on the altar table in memory of a loved one. There will be no communion during the worship service, but communion will be served at 10:25am at the altar railing.

Sunday Movie: After the luncheon, we will be showing a movie called “Radio” starring Cuba Gooding, Jr.  It is the second in our Reconciling Ministry movie series and deals with discrimination and prejudice against a young man with intellectual disabilities.

Sunday Jan 25. 7:00 p.m. MOVIE NIGHT “42 - The Jackie Robinson Story.”

In support of our efforts to become a Reconciling Congregation, we will be having monthly Movie Nights which will feature films that address the many facets of discrimination and prejudice. January’s film will be held on Sunday, January 25th at 7:00 p.m.  Please plan on joining us and bring a friend. Snacks will be provided. There is no cost for the movie.

Scott Campbell on Frank Schaefer:  Scott Campbell, retired Methodist minister from Epworth United Methodist Church will be speaking about the Frank Schaefer trial after the service this Sunday in Parish Hall.  All are welcome to attend.

January Community Dinner: Our next Community Dinner will be Wednesday, January 14th at 6:00pm in Parish Hall. Please call the church office (781) 893-9595 by noon on Tuesday the 13th to reserve your seat and to help Jen know how many people to plan on.
