Easter Cantata, Covenant of Grace, Sunday April 9  The Chancel Choir will perform their Easter Cantata during the morning worship service on Sunday, April 9th.  Come hear some glorious music. Bring a friend!

Maundy Thursday April 13 6:30  Join us for our Maundy Thursday service on Thursday, April 13, in Parish Hall with dinner starting at 6:30 pm as we remember and celebrate the last night of Jesus’ life.  

Everyone is asked to bring a covered dish to share.  Beverage and dessert will be provided.

Following supper, there will be readings of what Jesus did his last week in Jerusalem, followed by dramatic readings of the Centurion, Mary (Jesus’ mother), Joseph of Arimathea, Mary of Bethany, and the disciple, John. 

The service will conclude with communion and Kim DuLaurence singing, “Were You There.”

Lenten Study – Sunday March 12 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm Who was Jesus?  What do we believe about him?  Why faith in Jesus matters. We gather at 5:00 pm in the parlor for supper, followed by a DVD presentation and then discussion. We conclude by 7:00 pm.

World Day of Prayer 2017 - This past Friday, Weston UMC celebrated World Day of Prayer 2017 with a focus on the Philippines. Our hurting Filipino sisters and brothers cried out to us to pray for Economic justice, Environmental issues, Health care and education for children, and Justice and protection for overseas Filipino workers.


If you'll not only join us in prayer but also financially help us to take action, please place your check payable to "Weston UMC" with the notation "World Day of Prayer" in the offering plate this Sunday. Thank you for your help to heal their hurt!

Sunday Evening Lenten Study: Sunday, March 5 at 5:00 pm -  Starting with supper in the Parlor. During the six Sunday evenings in Lent, we will be looking at what Christians believe and why. We will be reading Adam Hamilton’s book, Creed.



World Day of Prayer 2017:  For the first time since the 1990’s, the Service in our area will be celebrated at Weston United Methodist Church, this Friday, March 3rd at 12 noon. Invite your friends and family to join in this one hour inspirational service of prayer and song. No reservations are needed.
