Weston Council on Aging:  During Advent, we are collecting food for the Weston Council on Aging. Please see the Dec. Beams for the list of items needed. You can leave the food in the box in the Narthex.

Christmas Pageant:  Dec. 20th during the worship service, the children will be doing the Christmas Pageant. All children are welcome to participate. Please be at church by 10:15 to get into your costumes.

Christmas Eve Service December 24th at 7:30 pm.

Weston Council on Aging:   We are collecting food during Advent for the Weston Council on Aging. Items most needed (in order of need):
  • Canned Tuna, canned turkey, canned chicken, canned salmon, small snack packs, granola & cereal bars, snack-pack sized canned fruits (peaches, pears, applesauce), pasta, soup, low-salt peanut butter, low-salt jelly, low-salt canned vegetables, jello mixes, small box of dry cereal (no oatmeal), unsalted crackers, small juice bottles, cans, and boxes.
Christmas Cantata:  The Chancel Choir will be performing a Christmas Cantata on Sunday, December 13th during the worship service at 10:30am.  Invite a friend!

Caroling:  The youth and any church members are invited to go caroling on Dec. 13th at 12:30pm

Weston Council on Aging: We will be collecting food for the Weston Council on Aging beginning this Sunday through the Advent Season.  There is a box set up in the Narthex. Please bring unexpired canned goods, or make a monetary donation to help support this cause.

Special Church Conference Sunday Nov. 15: There will be a special church conference after the worship service this Sunday in the sanctuary to vote on the Welcoming Statement.

Bible Study:  The Monday Evening and the Tuesday Morning Bible Studies will begin a six week study of Adam Hamilton’s When Christians Get It Wrong.  All are invited. The Monday Evening Group begins at 7:00pm with dinner and the Tuesday Morning Group starts at 10:30am. Both groups meet in the church parlor and are led by Rev. Melius.

Annual Church Retreat Saturday, November 7:  Join us at the church from 8:45 am to 3:30 pm. The cost is $15 and includes lunch. The Rev. Mike Clark, our retreat leader, will be speaking about Martin Luther King, Jr’s legacy. Mike is an excellent speaker and personally knew Mrs. King and her children. 


"Yogi & Boo Boo" Donations:  This is an ongoing drive to collect clothing, dishes, and toys for the families of those who visit the Bristol Lodge Soup Kitchen at which we serve in Waltham. Place your bags of donations under the coat rack just outside the door to Parish Hall. Thank you for helping these folks and their families to survive, who have little or nothing of their own

Remember to set your clocks back one hour on Saturday night.  We “fall back” one hour this weekend.
All-Saints Sunday - This Sunday is All-Saints Sunday when we will remember members of our congregation who died this past year. Members of the congregation will be invited to light a candle on the altar table in memory of a loved one. There will be no communion during the worship service, but communion will be served at 10:25am at the altar railing.
