Invitation to Worship - Sunday Jan. 28, 2018

Dear sisters and brothers, the beloved in Christ,

I would like to invite you, your family and also friends to Sunday service on January 28th.

During Sunday service, three church members will pray for God's abundant blessings upon WUMC and God's guidance for faith journey of WUMC in 2018. A Church member will share how much she and her husband love WUMC.

We will sing several old-time or all-time favorites hymns,

" Be Not Dismayed Whate'er Betide"

" My Hope is built onNothing Less,"

"God of Grace and God of Glory."

The Choir will sing "You Raised Me Up."; Then we will pray "Wesleyan Covenant Prayer."

My sermon title is "God is with us."

Bible readings are Numbers (Old Testament) 14:1- 12 and Philippians 4: 4-7 ( New Testament).

Theme: What can we learn from Joshua and Caleb and apply lesssons to our living as an individual and as church, community of faith?

Let's read Ephesian 3:20 and pray daily " Now glory be to God, who by his mighty power at work within us is able to do far more than we would ever dare to ask or even dream of -- infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts or hopes. (Living Bible)
